The first panel that stood out to me was the second one from the top on page 37. The horrible conditions of the train came across very well through the art. I liked the use of onomatopoeias to show the noisiness inside the train cars. The shading on the floor also gave the train a quality of dirtiness. I found the top panel on page 26 very interesting. Having a smaller panel inside of a bigger panel isn’t something I’ve seen before. I like that it draws the reader’s attention to two different images that relate to each other. I also found it interesting that the smaller panel is still structured like a regular panel and has its own text. Another panel that caught my eye was the top one on page 32. I found the panel on the right side of page 3 to be very interesting. This panel shifted the narrative as it shows that the story is being told as a look back on the past. In the panel there is George on a stage with a huge audience in front of him and a Tedtalk sign behind him. The rest of the story so far has taken place when George was a child, but he is now depicted as an adult on this panel.
